An electric fence is designed to keep intruders out. Here's how you can make sure it will do just that.
We require a new manual change over switch installed at/near the db board. New external water proof plug point installed on the outside wall for the standby generator. Replacement of 1 x day/night sensor operating 2 x LED exterior lights. Replace 1 x "jam jar" light fitting. Remove "illegal" cable installtion to exterior plug point and run new T&E cable from exterior plug point to DB board, through newly installed conduit housed in wall.
Solar panels of at least 6kva to run one freezer, 3 door fridge & freezer combo, 2 TV sets, lights and 0,75 submissable.water pump. Quote hybrid inverter and batteries separately from the panels. There must also be charge controllers (MPPT) and be compatible to feed extra power to the manucipality grid when it allowed to do so in the future We want to buy panels the last week February.

ESKOM supply circuit has 3 phases, with phases separated in the house. backup power supply to be done from 2 alternative points: 1. existing diesel generator (RG-I) 2. future inverter/battery/solar system

I am not too fussy about the steal used (it needs to be galvanised), but if a car bumps it it should hold. (it is in the garage, so will be a soft bump) It is just the frame, no mesh or cover is needed. I have probably over-engineered the design, so happy to listen if you have a better approach. I think 20mm square or angle tubing will be plenty strong.
I would like to have a -litre high-pressure solar geyser system with tubes to replace the electrical one. The roof type is high pitch. I do not need the geyser timer because the electric one is already installed. Existing W 24V pure sine inverter. 2 x W panels. 4x 12 V lead acid batteries. 24v 60A alternator on 10hp diesel motor supplies about W. I need 2 more W panels. Also 2x 3.5kW lithium 24V batteries. Existing 2 panels to be relocated for max perfomance. Sub DB from inverter handles 5 kW per day. I am hoping to sell the propert soon , therefore would not go to big.
