I cannot honestly confirm any positive experiences with this contractor. He expended much effort in delivery of truly poor attitude.
This contractor wanted payment before even starting the job the day he showed on site. Something about his paying rent that had nothing to do with me?? He fought from day one, then did 1/2 the job, after being part-paid as agreed. Then he absconded with new gate keys claiming his truck broke. I had to consider filing charges with SAPS to have the keys returned about 8 weeks later. As such, I cannot recommend this contractor as his reliability is unfortunately suspect.

ALL we want is 4 wireless beams in front outside, 4 Eyes in the workshop, 2 wireless beams at the back (we have our own just need to be installed), an app on the phone and if possible something on the gate motor that will let us know when the gate is opened. Looking to cost and determine what a new alarm system would cost. My current one is old and dated. Have 4 beams. Keypad in house and remote arming. Eyes inside the house are a waist. 3 main door access points. I am with a security company but looking to do a new system. 3 beams can be re used and working well. Keypad very old, door magnets need replacing.
Hi I'm looking at buying a small farm near Clarens in the Free State. It's 30.7 hectares. A huge riverine runs through most of it and a small river at the bottom. I'd like the whole thing fenced with game fencing or security fencing that would also act as a game fence. I'm guessing that where the river is at the bottom, that may need to be a type of palisade to easily let the water flow and allow flooding. One gate (maybe two). I need the fence with razor wire on top as well as 5 x double gates for access for motor vehicles. But because it is a n old complex with access from the road, each house will have to have a access gate. We are talking about 3 double access gates, 1 single gate, as well as 2 gates that will have to be access for 3 cars. See plan attached

I am not too fussy about the steal used (it needs to be galvanised), but if a car bumps it it should hold. (it is in the garage, so will be a soft bump) It is just the frame, no mesh or cover is needed. I have probably over-engineered the design, so happy to listen if you have a better approach. I think 20mm square or angle tubing will be plenty strong.
