I am looking for a home solar system.
We use less than R per month on electricity. We think from our research, that we are looking for a 5kw Hybrid system with a 5kw back-up battery. We want to try to run the house from the solar installation, is what we think we need, will it be enough? I want to install solar panels to run the house (except ovens, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer) during the day. There are already 3 existing small inverters (two of them for offices), and I would like to upgrade the main one and make it hybrid, thanks to the solar panels.
I have a VA inverter installed that recharges from normal electricity. I would like to install Solar panels to recharge the batteries. I am currently at work and in meetings and only available after 16:00.
