They worked until the project was completed. Very friendly and polite team.
They did not plan very well. They did not measure the extent of the work to be done then increased the initial price to cover the additional work that they did not factor in. The quote included rubble removal but they asked for additional money, not checking what the contract covered. Also they need to come back because the patio roof is still leaking.

this team had no leadership. the man presenting as the leader of this team stopped showing up midway through the project. so no instructions were fully and properly communicated and carried out by the rest of the team- even though all this was discussed with full supervisory team on initial evaluation. they never properly completed one task before starting the next leaving my home completely unfinished on every aspect (e.g. painting the bottom half of my home and not getting to the top part before the paint settles).
Vulakuvaliwe Construction – Response We acknowledge the client’s concerns and take feedback seriously. However, we would like to provide the other side of the matter for transparency and fairness. The photographs posted in this review show areas of the property that were still in the process of being worked on and had not yet reached their final stage of completion. They should therefore not be viewed as photographs of the finished work. During the project, the client also requested additional retexturing work that was not part of the original agreed scope. We undertook this additional work in good faith because we wanted to accommodate the client’s request and achieve the finish they wanted. This additional work affected the sequence and progress of the original painting work. Our team had already carried out substantial work at the property and incurred labour and material costs. We remained willing to continue working and complete the outstanding areas, including the additional work that had been requested. However, the project was stopped before our team could complete the remaining work. We therefore dispute the suggestion that the photographs demonstrate the quality of the completed work, as the areas shown were unfinished areas that were still scheduled to be completed. There is also an outstanding amount of R20,000 for work and labour that had already been carried out. We have attempted to resolve this matter directly and professionally with the client. We acknowledge that there were communication and supervision challenges during the project, but we believe the circumstances surrounding the additional scope, the retexturing requested by the client, and the decision to stop the project should also be taken into consideration. We respect the client’s right to provide feedback, but we believe it is important that anyone reading this review also has the full context. We remain willing to resolve the matter professionally and amicably.
