I urgently needed a pro for a roof leak repair repair, so I chose the roofing pro that called me first. He repaired my roof quickly and I think he did a great job. Even though it was an emergency, he did not charge me more than the usual price. Thank you!
Our roof started leaking at the worst possible time – 1 day before our vacation. I was worried because we needed it fixed before going away! One of my friends suggested trying Procompare and it was a great idea. I found a roofing pro who was willing to come repair it the next day. Thank you so much!
I used Procompare to find both an electrician and a roofing pro. I’m no expert, but I think the works on my roof were professionally done, there is no more leaking so far.
Your roofing quotations should include payment Information, approximated Timeline, costs, roof estimate materials, full description of work, guarantees and expectations of work, warranty, insurance and licensing Information.
When choosing any contractor to work on your property, you should make sure their work is of good quality. You should get to know their work better by checking through their documentation, verifying their web presence and speaking to them in detail about the job at hand and the process they’ll use to accomplish it.
Leaking roof doesn’t necessarily needs to be replaced. Missing, cracked, broken, and curling shingles can be repaired and replaced to stop a leak. If the roof is older (more than 15 years) or it has multiple leaks, it should be replaced.
Leaks can be tough to spot because water wants to find the path of least resistance and can travel for a while before finally showing up through your ceiling. You can try going into your attic or crawl space with a flashlight the next time it rains and try to trace it, but your most accurate answer will come from having a professional come out to find it.

We recently completed a solar installation for one of our clients, and they have reported a roof leak. The leak appears to be minor, but it needs to be located and repaired as soon as possible. Please provide us with a quote for: Inspecting the roof to identify the exact source of the leak. Carrying out the necessary repairs to stop the leak. Providing a brief report on the cause of the leak and the work done.
There is a section of my roof where the roof under-lay / material under roof vibrates with the wind. It makes a loud sound where it interfaces with the gutter/barge-board toward end of roof. I need someone to lift a few tiles and address the issue (stop the cause of vibration) Its a 2 story complex in Cheltenham Ridge and would need a very long ladder to access.
I am seeking a qualified contractor to install a roof over my existing balcony, transforming it into a covered outdoor space while incorporating skylights for natural lighting. The balcony is directly adjacent to my main living room, and the new roof should integrate seamlessly with the building's structure. The goal is to create a weather-protected area that maintains an open feel, suitable for year-round use. The roof should be durable, waterproof, and compliant with local building codes. I am open to material suggestions, such as polycarbonate panels, glass, or metal framing, with at least one or more skylights to allow sunlight into the space. Balcony Details: Location and Access: The balcony is attached to the main room via sliding doors or similar (to be confirmed on-site). It faces a garden area, with orientation as follows: North at the top, South toward the main room, East to the right, and West to the left (based on the provided compass in the sketch). Shape and Size: The balcony has an irregular pentagonal shape, which makes it somewhat awkward for standard roofing. The approximate total area is 16 m². For precise layout, please refer to the attached sketch. Key Measurements (Side Lengths): South side (adjacent to main room): 2. m West side: 4. m Northwest (short connecting) side: 0.95 m North side: 4.53 m East side: 2.65 m These dimensions are labeled on the sketch for visual reference. The shape tapers slightly, so accurate on-site measurements will be needed to confirm and ensure a custom fit for the roof. Scope of Work Required Roof Construction Build a durable and weather-resistant roof structure covering the full balcony area (approx. 16 m²). Roof must integrate seamlessly with the existing building façade and provide adequate drainage for rainwater. Skylight Installation Incorporate a skylight feature into the roof design to maximize natural daylight. Skylight should be positioned to optimize light penetration into both the balcony and the adjacent main room. Skylight to be made of high-quality, UV-resistant, insulated glass or polycarbonate. Materials & Finish Structural frame to be constructed in aluminum or galvanized steel (weatherproof and low maintenance). Roof covering to use durable, water-tight materials compatible with skylight integration. Finish should be modern, clean, and consistent with the aesthetics of the existing building. Door Integration (Optional) The balcony currently includes a 2.0 m aluminum door on the South side. The new structure should account for this opening, ensuring accessibility and proper sealing around the door. Before proceeding with site visits, I kindly ask interested contractors to provide a preliminary, non-binding breakdown of cost elements based on the information shared. This should include rough indicative ranges for: Structural frame and roof covering materials. Skylight supply and installation. Labor and installation. Any additional elements you recommend (drainage, sealing, finishing, etc.). This early estimate is not a commitment, but it will help ensure that budget expectations are broadly aligned before moving forward. I have provided detailed measurements and layout sketches so that contractors have enough information to develop an initial costing framework without needing to come on-site at this stage.

We are experiencing water leaks during rainy days. and when we inspected the roof, the drain area was block with debris and the insulation seems to have lifted (as depicted in the attached photograph), which seems to be the reason for the leak. We appreciate if you could also assess the rest of the roof (near drainage pipes). Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
We have a roof that was not build correctly which is caving in and leaking during heavy rains. We would appreciate a complete overhaul of the roof by reusing the current tiles on the roof and added anything else that might be needed to do a proper job. Please see attached the pictures of the outside roof. The floor area is approximately square metres.
Some places on my roof leaks when raining. One of my bathrooms has a flat roof and there is no exit from the ceiling. The bathroom has old ceiling board which is cracking and starting to show more leaks. Also leaking through the vent above the shower. When raining the entire ceiling gets wet and the floor. Some other parts of my house too. Also in my daughter's room with wooden floors. Also leaking directly above a light switch which makes the power trip.
