Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
The plan must include a basement parking, and be a triple storey building second floor being the rooftop that will fit an infinite pool, hot tub and a braai area. The house must have 5 bedrooms each having a private bathroom and 3 additional bathrooms. On the first floor the main bedroom should occupy about half of the area with two other bedrooms. Ground floor to contain two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and a theatre room. I've got sqm area to work at
Modern 3 rooms plus study and a double garage. Covered and open balconys all rooms to face the sea view. Kitchen and laundry, roofs to conceal solar panels space for solar battery etc. Living and dining room to face sea.
3beds, 3 baths, balcony preferably in all rooms. See pictures attached of what I have in mind.
