When it rains, water in the soil seeps down and through the wall, damaging the carpet and the paintwork in the room. What is needed is comprehensive damp-proofing along the length of the wall, and down to foundation level.

I have a light in one of the bedrooms, where the dimmer is broken. I have had electricians come in, spend 3 hours, charge me tons of money, they have replaced the dimmer, and yet the problem persists. please could you come have a look and see if you can find the fault?
