We are selling our house and moving to George in April this year. It is an old Cape Dutch farm house and we need a full rewiring of our current electrics which has been done by the previous 2 owners without a legal COC. As far as we are aware, it is not registered as a heritage house. It is an old wiring system with some new cables that still needs to be put in to conduit. We have a solar system (which needs removing or updating), a heat pump, an alarm system and electrics running underground to our workshop (1 light switch), small cabin in garden (4 light switches) and a pool with pool pump. It is a teard level landscaping with rock borders, ponds, a bridge, concrete stairs and cement everywhere so not an easy pathway for the electrics to the outside buildings and pool.
I am looking at a Residential, full bill-reduction, single-phase system. Current monthly electricity bill is about R to R per month on prepaid metre. Roof is Flat IBR. Have a pool pump. Interested in installing a heat pump for the geyser. Can I get credits for excess power feedback into the grid to use at night?

Good Day I recently moved into a new property after purchasing it and to my surprise my geyser is not working and I got someone to check it and he found out that the element is not working , motor gate and the lights outside are not working. When plugs and stove are on at the same time it traps , attached is copy of the COC and I have been asking for the original from the owner and she keeps on saying she will bring it Please can you advise what needs to be done in this case .I have attached the copy of the COC which is a bit faded .
I will need 2 panels of roughly W. They will connect straight into a Ecoflow Delta 2 Max. The limitation of the Ecoflow's input is 60V and 15 Amps maximum. It connects to the solar panels via two MC4 to XT60 cables (3.5m should be enough). It has two solar inputs so each panel connects to a port.
1. Replace current motion sensor flood light with day night sensor and new 30W flood light. Install 2nd new 30W flood light about 20 meters away from existing floodlight. I have a two Deye inverters and Pylontec batteries. One invert seems to be still working but the WIFI Logger might be faulty as I'm struggling to get the inverter back onto the Solarman monitoring application. Ultimately I'd like to ensure that the system is properly configured so that I can monitor the system (with both inverters). Some of the batteries seem faulty as the LED lights are partially on.
