We are still in the planning phase to build on an erf we bought in Murdock Valley in Simon's Town. It is on quite a steep slope in Rocklands. To aid our planning we are looking for a rough estimate cost per square meter for average & luxury home prices (double storey up the slopes) - excluding the cost of excavations and retaining walls required. There is a road adjacent to the plot so should be easily accessible. We are just looking for a rough estimate and a potential price range to work with for our planning.
Good Morning, I would please like a quote on materials and installation of doggy bars on my existing palisade fence. We would like the easiest and most affordable solution to keep our 2 miniature (escape artist) Yorkies within our garden walls without them potentially getting hurt. Some of the existing palisades might have to be lengthened at the bottom as well. I am not sure how long the fence is. My late mother's house was built incorrectly it's a 3 bedroom house with lounge and dining room, kitchen and bathroom. It looks like the person who was doing it was an amateur because the house ended up look like a church building. I would like to get a quote to renovate it to look like the plan I have attached here.
We have a one bedroom house in Craighall Park. Connected to the master bedroom is a studio office (not accessible by the bedroom) and connected to the studio office is a smaller room. We could like to incorporate the studio and smaller room into the main house to create additional rooms. This is a project which will require 1) knocking down existing walls, 2) constructing a corridor and 3) constructing walls to separate the new space into separate rooms.
Need further advice. Planning on purchasing 2 Hectare plot for residential and small scale farming. The plan is to live and do farming on 1 hectare and use the other hectare for livestock grazing for 10 years and then sell it. Is is then wise to install electric on the entire 2 hectare or just 1 hectare and do normal razor wire fencing on one. The livestock will graze and be returned each day back into the electric fenced hectare.
