To do a wall chasing to be able to install two slim profile sconces/lights /picture lights on the side of the mirror in the bathroom. The lights will be fitted after the tile have been done. Now it is just to prepare the wall. There's already a light on the ceiling and will use the existing switch and will add a switch button to be able to turn on the lights.
This is a homestead in the location in Mgomanzi, I’m trying out a quote as I am tired of losing electricity all the time. This is for my parents so we have a couple of houses with zinc roof that may be better and cheaper fit. I’m looking for something really cheap, this is for lights, fridge, tv and washing machine purposes. I don’t have any pictures. I am hoping for real affordability and reliability
I would like a quote on a solar installation. We would use it to power the house throughout (geyser, fridge, TV and small appliances) but if the quote will be too high then we can request a second quote to power the geyser only. We are a family of 2, my partner and I and sometimes have guests over at the house.
I have a Five Star 5kw Inverter and 2 x Revov R 5kw Batteries with 4 x w Canadian Bifacial Panels. Occasionally (on cloudy days) with power outages the batteries will drain completely and when Escom power is restored the inverter won't come back on to allow the batteries to be charge. How can I fix this?
I would like to install a Residential Solar System at my new house. I have purchased the property and am waiting for the transfer to take place which should take roughly 3 months. I would like to install the system before moving in. Looking for best pricing on the following including installation and CoC, must include engineering approval of load bearing of the roof: 8kW inverter (Sunsynk or Deye), 2x 5kWh batteries (Lithium Ion or LiFePO4), 8 to 12 Solar Panels (Canadian Solar/ JA Solar / Trina Solar/ Longi).

We are selling our house and moving to George in April this year. It is an old Cape Dutch farm house and we need a full rewiring of our current electrics which has been done by the previous 2 owners without a legal COC. As far as we are aware, it is not registered as a heritage house. It is an old wiring system with some new cables that still needs to be put in to conduit. We have a solar system (which needs removing or updating), a heat pump, an alarm system and electrics running underground to our workshop (1 light switch), small cabin in garden (4 light switches) and a pool with pool pump. It is a teard level landscaping with rock borders, ponds, a bridge, concrete stairs and cement everywhere so not an easy pathway for the electrics to the outside buildings and pool.
I am looking at a Residential, full bill-reduction, single-phase system. Current monthly electricity bill is about R to R per month on prepaid metre. Roof is Flat IBR. Have a pool pump. Interested in installing a heat pump for the geyser. Can I get credits for excess power feedback into the grid to use at night?
We have a 4 bedroom house with 3 adults. Additionally we have a 1 bedroom wendy house occupied with 2 adults and another self standing 1 bedroom flat with 1 adult. We have 1 electrical geyser. Other 2 geysers are gas. All electrical appliances as normal, fridges x 3, tvs, hairdryers, combination gas and electrical stove x 2, but one gets hardly ever used. 2 x washing machines and 1 tumble dryer. 2 x kettles.
