Updating your home’s paint might seem like quite the project, but it will be worth it.
All walls in the house need to be painted. There are old water damage marks at the bottom of 2 of the walls. It needs to be sanded down before repainting. The walls are not "wet" anymore, so the leak or source of water was repaired previously. All nails also need to be taken out and holes filled before repainting.
1. All 3 window’s putty needs to be painted – paint door both sides, paint inside and outside of small window 2. Where kitchen tv was hanging, seal the holes with plaster ad repaint the back wall 3. The church floor needs to be re-painted as the paint has peeled off due to rainwater. The area that requires painting is square meters. We'll be using stoep paint in the color red oxide. Before we start painting, the surface preparation will involve removing any loose or peeling paint and cleaning the surface to remove any dirt or debris. Once the surface is clean, it must be completely dry before we begin painting.
1. Wooden support beam for roof on stoep is rotten, need to be replaced. (See attached foto). 2. 2xleaking toilets to be fixed 3. Tap connector to wall for washing machine is leaking, need to be replaced/fixed 4. Counter by wash basin in kitchen needs to replaced/fixed. All these does not need to be at once, can be done separately. The roof is most important. Items numbered in order of importance.
The garage back door is rotten. The threshold of the door is rotten. The gate in front of the door is locked and has no key. Task to be done: 1. Grind off the padlock on the gate 2. Remove the rotten door and threshold. Fit a new solid wooden door, Fit new lock and handles. 3. Varnish door, frame and threshold 2 coats

Email me please. I am preparing our Body Corporate's Ten-Year Maintenance Schedule, so I need to get an idea of the cost of painting the units. We are not ready for the actual work at this stage. It would help to get the price for one of each type of unit, as our budget won't stretch to doing all the units at once. We need to repaint the one-storey units in our Complex - 15 two-bedroom and 7 three-bedroom. They will have to be painted in relays as we don't have the budget to paint them all at once.

1. 65% of the property = cracks already opened, plastered, plaster key added and sanded. 2.30% of the property all cracks been opened. Still needs to be plastered and prepared for painting. 3. 5% Front boundary wall on the road side has had no work done and requires, opening a few cracks, filling and painting. 4. Windows and Doors need be varnished on the outside only. 5. Deck is for a small pool and needs to be prepared and varnished (8x6) 7. Double garage interior wall needs to be prepared, basic waterproofing and painting. 8. All paint required will be bought by the owner. 9. Electrical fence needs to be prepared.
