Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.

The house should be two story house. Atleast with 4 to 5 bedrooms. I would like tascan roofing, porch and balcony. I have square meter, piece of land. I have municipal plan but I want to make some alterations. This plan is the two story house plan. I would like to add 3 more bedrooms on 2nd floor and a balcony on the lounge which must be over the garage. Attached please find the examples on how more less I would like the house to look like. Already have plans just need to make alterations to add the above.
