How to get building plan approval in South Africa?
What you have to do to get the permit and where to start.
I would like to build up turn the single story into a double story . 2 bedrooms kitchen lounge toilet .
3 bedroom house, 2 bathrooms, 2garages
This is a bit of a mixed request. We have a lot of space, but I am not sure how to keep it well organised. I have a 3 and 5 year old, so the house needs to be functional and safe, with no frills that I am unable to maintain. The kids spend most of their time indoors, as outside is not adequate for unsupervised play. We require set up of office space (for work from home), some organisation of my hobby & craft space, storage space and my kids' bedrooms. We also have a space which the previous owner used as a hair salon, which we are wanting to turn into a gym space (child friendly), however this section of the house will require some building work, as it is not properly waterproofed. There would also be some miscellaneous maintenance work required.
I need a plan for extension.. I would like to add one bedroom ,3 bedrooms I want to extend .

We have bought a newly renovated stand alone house in Craighall. it has 4 bedrooms, two lounges and a dining room. My wishes: to have the home professionally decorated into a stylish, but comfortable home. It needs to be homely, but not basic. I generally like the traditional classic look but this house has modern elements and hence my need for assistance so that it doesn't look confused. The look needs to be sophisticated, but also functional because we have a toddler and family may still grow. Obviously it needs to be cost effective. Expectations: Never having used the services of interior design before, I am expecting collaboration on ideas, advise and sourcing right through to seeing to delivery and staging of the furniture and pieces.
