How to choose the right paint colour for your home interior
Picking the right colours isn’t all that easy. We’ve put together some tips to help you.
we have been renovating some of the house over the last couple of years, but we are looking to upgrade so that we can sell the house for more. upgrading includes a full renovation of the kitchen and scullery area, upgrading two bathrooms, replacing all the window frames and flooring, skirtings, fireplace, painting and stiling the 5 bedroom house.
plumbing a bathroom needs to be done over as it is an old steel bath where plumbing is not in wall but on the wall. tiles also need to be replaced. it will be a bath with a shower overhead, basin also be replaced. garage roof also needs to be done over the wooden strip on wall against which sheeting is mounted is rotting badly so whole roof needs to be done with most of the frame still being in excellent condition. poor waterproofing caused the rot. one face board on the main home also needs to be replaced. possibly would like the wall in front of home removed and replaced with solid sliding steel gate as well. this gate will be manual not motor based
1 Main bedroom (3 walls and 1 wall with window). 3 standard bedrooms (2 walls, 1 wall with window and 1 with wardrobes). Passage both sides. Living room (3 walls and one with sliding door). Reception room (3 walls and one with double window). Dining room (3 walls and 1 with window). Study room the size of a single garage (3 walls and 1 with window). Ceilings fir all those rooms. Ceiling needs some fixing. I need an estimate quote. Most of the walls are currently Grey and need to paint them cream or a homely color. Need quote to include the cost of the paint.
I want to build a 20 unit apartment complex with 10 one bedroom unit and 10 two bedroom units. It must include a large swimming pool, under cover parking/protective parking. Have a reception office near the entrance of the complex. Security office at the gate. A convenient store in the complex and a pre-school.
It's a small room about 2.7m x 3.2m that requires remodelling for the use of a Tanning/collogan Studio. I need to redo a bedroom into an office and lounge space. I would need the removal of old doors to be replaced with new doors and the removal of cupboard doors and replacement with new. The skirting of the room needs to be sanded and old paint on them removed and restained. Walls need to be painted including accent walls. Built in cupboard needs to be redone. Shelving needs to be designed and installed.
We are moving into a rented house, which we may decide to buy and renovate later. Initially we would like a quote for doing some restoration/repair work and a thorough repainting of the main downstairs rooms as well as the 3 bedrooms upstairs - we will have occupancy from 1st of Feb but will be allowed access before that to complete the work. 1) To remove the retainer blocks in question against the precast fence between units 2 and 3. 2) To excavate and pour a 25 MPA concrete foundation. 3) To construct a new 1, high wall as close as possible to the precast wall – face bricks to match the existing walls and common bricks to be used behind the face bricks. 4) To remove the existing paver blocks at the proposed new position of the spa - bath - to lay the above blocks elsewhere as required by the owner. 5) To lay a level mm thick 25mpa concrete slab on top of BRC mesch – size of slab to accommodate the spa-bath. Retaining wall to be built along length of the house and as a support structure for sinking swimming pool . Foundation to be pinned. Large tree to be removed with root system to be killed off. Septic tank and sewage system to be replaced. Water and geyser system to be replaced/upgraded to improve water pressure and flow. Floor tiles to be removed so that foundation can be repaired. Tiles to be replaced. Major structural cracks on walls to be repaired.
I am building a main house with a cottage on a open piece of land in Langevlei Dunes, wilderness/Kleinkranz. I am looking for a general quote of cost per square meter so that I can short list builders. I currently live in Uitenhage and will becoming to the garden route to finalise a builder and my building plans.
