Dear RV Smith. My name is . My roof was Very flat. You advised that it does not need corrugated iron instead you put that stuff made from tarr. Ido not know whether you call it dempkos or dampproof or what. The problem I have is that this roof produces substance that makes water from the rain brown and I have water tank to trap rain water and reduce municipal water bill. I therefore request from you what paint can I use to prevent that black tarr liquid from coming out. I do not need reroofing that is what you did.
We are moving into our new property in Rondebosch East over the next few weeks and there is a back part of the home that I need some advice on. The back part of the home has metal sheeting and I would like to extend that area roofing over the open area as well to create some privacy. Can I please get a quote on shaded carports for the following: 1) 4 x tripple parking spaces (Next to each other - 12 spaces total). 2) Another 3 x tripple parking spaces (Next to each other - 9 spaces total). 2) Another 1 x tripple + 1 x double parking spaces (Next to each other - 5 spaces total). 1) 1 x single parking spaces (one is for the shaded seating area). Over haul maintenance Wind damage thatched ripped out on roof Had an overhaul in thatch wasn’t compacted tightly resulted in draughts and thatch being ripped off in strong winds and capping needs replacement and a couple a leaks To sum up the previous overhaul was shoddy workmanship hence the problems
Portion of roof over double volume has translucent sheeting (I think it is glass fiber installed 20 years ago: 4 sheets wide and c. 1,5 M long on both sides (E and W)) which was damaged by the recent hail storm. A small hole (± 20mm) appeared after the storm. So I guess the sheets will have to be replaced with corrugated polycarbonate sheets.

I need a carport for my rubber duck but also as a workshop for me… hence the double port. Floor needs to be concrete and I would like the option of enclosing the weather side at some stage. Aluminium stems to be the best option. What do you recommend? I will have levelled the site before you start. Please can you give me an indication of price.
