We are looking at improving our garden and would appreciate your advice and recommendations. Our main priority is to create more privacy along the boundary wall between our property and our neighbour's. We would like to plant something that provides effective screening while still looking attractive. There is currently just grass.
I want a clean up of a property just outside Kempton park. The yard is approximately 1.5 hectare in size. I want to the following to be done: 1. Removing 5 x banana trees 2. Bush clearing on the yard 3. Lawn mowing and/or grass cutting (grass above knee high) 4. Removal of the rubble (kindly charge/quote per load) 5. Spraying weedkiller/herbicides on paving 6. Maybe also trimming of high trees x 6 (+/- 10m - 16m)
We have just moved into a complex where the maintenance on the back garden is my responsibility. The grassed/garden area is approximately sqm. It has a very small garden bed. There is a high hedge on one side. I just need this to be maintained. I don’t know if the summer and winter months differ with the frequency of grass cutting and maintenance.

The main priority is general garden maintenance and cleanliness, including removing weeds, cutting and maintaining the grass, clearing overgrown areas, and trimming or removing any old trees/branches that require attention. There is no specific style preference or landscaping design required. The goal is simply to keep the garden neat, clean, safe and well-maintained on a monthly basis.
Garden with large trees causing large dry, sandy patches on the grass- but I love the trees. Small pond with water overflow from yard and rain. Sun facing Flower beds that I plant seasonal flowers in but struggling with the soil. Lots of basic shrubbery against boundary walls. Hydrangeas that are not doing well. Roses that are not doing well.
We need assistance with design of our back garden. We had lawn, removed it and the ground is completely open. Our ideal is paving and pebble stone design - flower beds in planters and lollipops with ground cover surrounds. Paving colour stone grey and pebbles in charcoal. The planters, depending on how many can be a mix of stone grey and charcoal. We also need those concrete garden set with 2 seats that are backless plus table and another type which is 2 benches (small) and two side tables. This furniture will not be in the same section of the garden.
Good Day, I have just moved from Gauteng to JBay. I live in a complec. The "so called garden" is looking terrible. I have many potplants which I brought from gauteng which needs to be replanted into the "new garden". The garden/yard has been neglected for quite some time and is very overgrown, with a lot of weeds, leaves and general mess. I would like a thorough clean-up and maintenance to get everything neat and under control again. I would also like the garden to be maintained regularly going forward. We have recently moved into a house in Brooklyn. The garden is terrible with no structure, the back yard was overgrown in ivy. We have removed dead an unsightly trees, most of the ivy. Left with bare walls that is extremely unsightly. Would love a low maintenance garden, preferably evergreen plants especially round the pool area, create some privacy from neighbors and select a grass type that will work in full sun as well as shade. A general overall is required. It an old house and would like the garden to blend in with the architecture. Budget is tight, with the correct guidance that we desperately need, we will be able to do it ourselves over time.
