What kind of permissions do I need for my electric fence, and where to get them?
Electrical fences are dangerous, so you need to obtain permission before installing them. What are they? Where do you get them?
I want to have a small (80-m2) single story, 2 bedroom house designed and built in Green Pastures Knysna and I would like a rough quote per square meter for building costs. I would also like to go and view houses built by the construction company to see how they build if possible. My budget is severely restricted so It is imperative to stay within this size range.

I bought a house that I have to move in. I doubt wether the stability of its electrical connections as the appliances such as air conditioners and built-in radio were ripped off their mountings. There's power on the building and all other equipment like sliding gates,pool pumps,.Stove and lights in the house are working. I require information to ensure that there isn't any loose strands of open ended live wires that may electrocute or set the house alight.
We are looking at renovating our stoep area - 8m x 8m. We’d like to change the roof from a flat to pitched exposed structure and tie it in to our existing house roof structure. Barbed wire (in rolls) to be affixed/secured to retaining structure ''wall'' in order to prevent intruders climbing retaining structure and gaining access to the property. So lengths of razor wire to be affixed to retaining structure/wall in order to prevent intruders from climbing up the structure/wall. Also required in possibly a new fence will razor wire for a small section adjacent to the retaining structure/wall.
We have a storm water inlet (covered by a metal grid) on our driveway/parking area. Due to water-overflow or other reasons, the paving around the water-inlet got damaged (paving is sagging) . it might cause an open hole next to the water inlet and because it is in the middel of a driveway, might cause damage to vehicles. Suspect we need to support the paving with a concrete foundation around the water inlet.
