We need a company that specialises in small businesses. We had a book keeper consultant but find they are not giving us the service we need. We will require someone to assist our admin lady in understanding how to do the VAT returns and then a service that does our tax returns etc and can guide us on all the financials. We are looking to change our current auditors of 20 years due to changed circumstances. The current work consists of: 1. Income tax return (SAAFFI is tax exempt) in June/July 2. Submission of the annual NPO report (written by us) to the department of Social Development 3. Preparation of the annual financials and signing off once approved by the AGM in mid January. SAAFFI does not employ anyone so there is no PAYE or UIF etc.
We are very small business with not many transactions happening at present. We are a UK company in the process of setting up a SA subsidiary. We already have a number of people working from us from SA and these will be transferred to the new company as employees (17 people and counting). I am a Belgian national, resident in Portugal, receiving monthly rental income (approx R12k pm) which is paid in full into a Nedbank non-resident account. I need to declare the income and pay the associated income tax. Basically, there are 12 receipts with all expenses deducted - so no purchases although it is conceivable that there may be at some point. Some consideration of non-resident status is required although I believe I do have a SARS non-resident tax number. Please assist
We have a low volume of Daily transactions but are going to scale soon as we are a start-up. We need an accounting firm with employees who can handle both daily Ad hoc secretarial requests, weekly Bank reconciliations as well as yearly financial statements(also audited), and management accounts every quarter.
