Every South African homeowner can avoid lots of problems by waterproofing their homes.
I would like to remove the bath and install a walk in show. Replace basin and toilet and retile the floor and walls. Install a vanity and towel rail. I bought a house that I have to move in. I doubt wether the stability of its electrical connections as the appliances such as air conditioners and built-in radio were ripped off their mountings. There's power on the building and all other equipment like sliding gates,pool pumps,.Stove and lights in the house are working. I require information to ensure that there isn't any loose strands of open ended live wires that may electrocute or set the house alight.
There are masonite ceiling boards beneath the roof overhang around the outside of house. The brandering and supports for theses boards is old / rotten / missing and the boards are starting to come loose They need to be reattached and the edges sealed with silicon please. I am happy to Whatsapp pictures of the temporary repairs that I have done if this will help.
The roof was recently painted and the winter has damaged some of the roof sheets. The roof is leaking in 3 areas. I would like the roof to be checked and any issues sorted. I have an old roof. The builder has advised me it is either asbestos or fibre cement. I have some water proofing that needs to be done.
6 seven meter metal sheets. The rain has completely ruined my roof and I need 6 metal sheets of 7 meters in size each. I only need the supply and I am willing to collect the materials myself as well. We are looking at renovating our stoep area - 8m x 8m. We’d like to change the roof from a flat to pitched exposed structure and tie it in to our existing house roof structure. Also, we’d like to add 2x 3-panel sliding doors , built in braai, re-tiling the area.. is this something you could assist with? Also assist in helping with the council plans for it?

I am considering purchasing a dilapidated house and renovating it. I think it needs the slate roof replaced entirely (roof trusses as well). The tiling area (not floor area) is approximately m2.
