What are the costs you can expect in your painting project
1 Main bedroom (3 walls and 1 wall with window). 3 standard bedrooms (2 walls, 1 wall with window and 1 with wardrobes). Passage both sides. Living room (3 walls and one with sliding door). Reception room (3 walls and one with double window). Dining room (3 walls and 1 with window). Study room the size of a single garage (3 walls and 1 with window). Ceilings fir all those rooms. Ceiling needs some fixing. I need an estimate quote. Most of the walls are currently Grey and need to paint them cream or a homely color. Need quote to include the cost of the paint.
It's a small room about 2.7m x 3.2m that requires remodelling for the use of a Tanning/collogan Studio. It is a double story renovation from rental to a bed and breakfast. There is four to 5 plugs per room, every room has an en-suite bath/shower. I need to redo a bedroom into an office and lounge space. I would need the removal of old doors to be replaced with new doors and the removal of cupboard doors and replacement with new. The skirting of the room needs to be sanded and old paint on them removed and restained. Walls need to be painted including accent walls. Built in cupboard needs to be redone. Shelving needs to be designed and installed.
We are moving into a rented house, which we may decide to buy and renovate later. Initially we would like a quote for doing some restoration/repair work and a thorough repainting of the main downstairs rooms as well as the 3 bedrooms upstairs - we will have occupancy from 1st of Feb but will be allowed access before that to complete the work. *Renovating an open plan kitchen to be more functional, better functional design and more clever storage solutions. *breaking through to incorporate two back to back bathrooms into one larger, more spacious main bathroom en suite with walk in wardrobe. This is for my mum, I am doing this project on behalf of her, I require quotes to compare and make an informed decision on which avenue to go with.
The basement is humid and is smelling musty, the walls are flaking in one of the rooms. In winter, cold air seeps through into the ground floor because of the wooden flooring and the spacing between the floor boards. I want a cost effective, economical and durable solution like a fibre seal for walls and underflooring.
I have a flat concrete slab roof. I need to replace the current torch on as it is leaking when it rains heavily and causing damp through out the building. The roof portion that needs sealing is over sqm, but I don't know the exact number off hand. I will need to go there later or tomorrow and walk off the measurement. I would like this sooner rather than later, but am a little flexible. I attempted a short term fix as I wanted to build on the roof, but it looks like I will have to wait on that now and just repair the roof. See attached pictures.
Repair - maintenance. Roof room was built 30 years ago by Adrian Greylling and is generally in very good condition . We have been very happy with room. However the outer layer of the sheets of wooden material used for the walls, is crumbling in small sections - facing into the weather Would like to assess repair before Cape winter
Repairs of aged/damaged water proofing on small sections of the roof showing signs of water damage and cracks. Cleaning of existing waterproofing membranes on the rest of the roof and replacing damaged pieces with overcoat and torching. Application of 2x overcoat matching the existing colour of the house.
