How long does an architectural project typically last?
Let's go over the timeline for the construction of a new family home.
Double story with 3 bedrooms , main bedroom with en suite as well as a walk in closest , one bathroom upstairs . A single garage. Downstairs kitchen dinning room lounge . Upstairs I want 2 bedrooms and a lounge( I want to have a exit to the balcony that will be on top of the garage ) as well as a small study . One of the bedrooms upstairs I want to have a en suite with a shower as well.
I am looking to remodel my entire house. I would like to change the rooms inside to have an ensuite, I want to change the kitchen to a different space and divide the rooms to be a granny flat. The granny flat is going to be attached to the house it's not going to be a separate building, I would also like a workshop but please advise on which area inside my house I can plan to have it.
Looking to extend my house in Goodwood and knocking down internal walls to improve layout. Also require boundary wall and paving to be constructed. I need a 4 bedroom house built for an affordable price on a plot in Benoni. We are looking for simple. Flat steel roof. modern squire simple design. Attached are some ideas. We will not be going for such big windows to save cost. However look the frame of the house. I am looking at having a 4 bedroom flat , The main bedroom will have an en suite .1 Bathroom , Kitchen ,lounge ,dinning room garage (bigger than a normal size garage) .I dont want any paving just bricks outside, the rooms inside will also need plastering and interior painting.
We would like to remodel the existing house and add to it. The face of the house would like it to be redone so that it looks beautiful then convert the existing house into a kitchen,dining and lounge. (currently we have a small kitchen , 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom & a small lounge) Then build on a new structure that will be attached to the old house to build 4 rooms with a small-medium office space , laundry room. Kitchen to have a pantry with a separate sing space for the dishes. Add a double garage. We are looking at demolishing the old structure, & rebuild from it.

I am based in Mokopane. I live close to a mine and they detonate a lot so I would like advice on the material I should use to build my house.
