7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.
I need to cover the drying yard of the property the yard is approx. 6m x 3m. Though I have specified a hard cover would consider shade netting. The only purpose of this cover is to keep the yard dry from the rain and would request your advice. The structure should be robust to withstand monkeys walking on it.
I am not completely sure about the square meters of the property, I am open to having someone come out to measure properly in order to give the most accurate quote. Hi We have some old Astro that is in storage that we would like to install in our school gym facility. The floor space is roughly 6m wide and 25m in length. We have an old carpet there currently that would need to be ripped out and replaced with the turf. We possibly would require a general cleaning of the turf if it is something you are able to provide. The carport needs to come from the side of the house which is about 1 meter in width, and to the way to the front of house which is about 6x6m if I'm not mistaken. I would like a quote I'm not sure what the correct measurements are at this stage. We would also like carport roof that is solid for all weather conditions especially rain, but brings in natural sunlight to the home still. Please advise. Thank you
I would like a shade carport for two cars that can be attached to the outside of my double garage. There can be no implanting with concrete due to Estate rules in order to term the port as a temporary structure. I have a room 4,2m x 4,2m that needs a replacement wooden floor. Plus minus 18 Sqr meters. I also need a quote on the support beams. There were 9 support beams 4,4 m or 18 2,2m 40mm x mm in the floor. As well as quotes for skirting boards. 4 x 4,2m I am in Richmond KZN so please give a quote for delivery as well. Please could you quote on four red carpet runners for me for my sales showroom to walk up to the entrance of an aircraft. Each runner should be 3m x 1m and should be a good quality red carpet (not mottled in any way), with a fabric or canvas type edging that will last and make is sit well on the floor after being rolled up for storage. Already have a carport that is attached to the house. There are wooden pillars supporting it and the roof is covered with IBR Roof sheets. I need to cover the one side of the carport which is not attached to the house and also want something that can the back just to keep a bit of moist out because I stay at the coast.
I need a clear carport used with fibre glass or polycarbonate material…which ever is reasonable. But I’m also worried about the weather such as hail. What if it gets damaged? Is it also possible to do it with steel and polycarbonate? I need that space to have lighting hence I’m not fully opting for steel roofs. Please advise
