How to get building plan approval in South Africa?
What you have to do to get the permit and where to start.
I have walls between kitchen and dining room and also lounge and too many doors, would like the new look of modern houses, the flow of the house from front door should be seam less

I need help please we used a architect to draw extensions on our Current home, the architect disposed our original house plans. The Municipality did not approve the new plans with the extensions on they said the plans doest make sin. No we will have to first redraw the original house and then put the extensions on. If somebody can contact me please on i do have the drawings that need to be redraw. We are currently residing abroad and recently purchased a plot in South Africa, which we plan on developing as a holiday home. We have not viewed the property however we do have a few possible designs in mind. The plot is in Marina beach, 12 River view drive. Design options we understand is challenging/limited as it is a triangular shaped corner plot. Currently we have no budget and or pressing deadlines and need to investigate the options available to us, critical items required to move forward and costs associated with this in order to formalise a budget.
