Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
We really want someone to bring our ideas to reality. We recently bought a space and completely broke it down and had it redone so we now have a 4 bedroom space. Now we need help with designing, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge, literally everything. We have ideas but need help putting it all together. We need someone who can assist with where to put what, how and where to put cupboards. Basically we just need to know what works and what won't.
We want to add rooms, we want to enlarge the kitchen. We also want to extend existing rooms, the passage, and add bathrooms as well. Lastly we would like to add a dining room as well.
In more detail I want to extend 2badroom kitchen and bathrooms with the following: 4 bedroom (the main bedroom should have an ensuite) Open kitchen plan 2 Bathroom Double garage I need a quote for drawing this ideal house of mine I have attached a picture please refer to it.
