How much does an architect cost in South Africa?
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) publishes "standard rates" based on a price per square meter when using a building cost of R12 500 per m².
House is a double story in a country cottage style, currently in an L-shape. We would like to extend the kitchen on the ground floor and the main bedroom above it. An en-suite bathroom should be added at the end of the main bedroom. A scullery and servants quarters should be added with a lean-to roof, with the possibility of a workshop/storage room as a separate building, depending on cost.
I am planning to build a three bedroom, two bathrooms home. One of these bathrooms has to be in the master bedroom as an en suite style room.
Add flatelt to existing home
We looking to add an outdoor patio and two granny flats.
Currently the house its 2 bedroom with 1 toilet, dining room, seating room, kitchen and a garage. I want to make it a 3 bedroom and one bedroom with an en suite.
The area we are working with are at different levels. Either we add steps or build a high enough foundation. We need professional assistance as we are not sure if what we have in mind is going to be approved
Cost outline for drawings and submissions
Need renovations of my bedroom, bathroom, toilet, another bathroom and toilet for visitors, kitchen and pantry kitchen.
I want to add one more room onto the house, on the existing structure. I need advise if this can be done and for a plan to be drawn up and submitted.
