I would like to renovate a house which will include new tiles in all but one room, new paint on all walls of the house, removal of bath and extension of the shower, new counters in bathroom and kitchen, removal of old wall tiles and adding new wall tiles repairing of the roof and ceiling maintenance.
1. Move a bedroom door to a different position in the wall, resulting in electrical socket also needing to move. 2. Change ensuite bathroom layout and change separation wall to full width, with alternative entrance. Layout to include shower, bath, toilet and, if possible, 2 basins. Plaster hole in the wall.
Move geyser from under kitchen sink to other side of the wall outside. + cover for the geyser. Restore kitchen cupboards. Remove old gas stove, not in working order for many years. Remove bath and change to walk in shower. Fan light to be replaced.Floor. +- 34sq m bachelor grond floor unit. Easy access.
My flatlet burnt down. I want to sell as is. the flatlet has two bedrooms and a huge lounge/ sitting room. I think its a great opportunity for a contractor to fix and resell. We are converting the current kitchen, dining room and lounge in our house into an open plan home office. I need to know which walls are weight bearing and which walls can be broken down. The job mostly entails demolishing walls, removing door frames, removing window frames (and saving these for use in other areas of the house), as well as building an addition/extension to the house. This may include redoing the roof where we are extending.
