How to get building plan approval in South Africa?
What you have to do to get the permit and where to start.
At present it's a 3 bedroom flat with built in cupboards in two rooms. A kitchen and lounge. One bathroom with bath tub, toilet and basin. I would like to have an open plan kitchen and living room. No formal lounge. Reno current bathroom including a shower over the tub. Convert one bedroom into a dressing room with an bathroom and walk in shower. Change current window frames to aluminium with trellidoor style burglar guards. The huge wall to wall window in the lounge must change to aluminium French doors with trellidoor burglar guards.
I need an ensuite bedroom so i need a plan
Three bed home for couple relocating to Plett, approx sq meters, open plan living area, modern finishes, maximizing views while incorporating privacy

The house was initially a double story. We built a portion in which we are staying. We want to convert it to a single story. The whole foundation is on the floor but needs to make some alterations too.
