Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
I am looking for an architect that will help me convert this house into an Airbnb rental. I would like to turn the garage into 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and remodel the existing two bathrooms. In addition to that i would need a furniture layout and 3D pictures. The braai area would have a large 10-seater wooden table, the living area would be living room. I would like one of the rooms to have 4 beds for kids and friends (bunk beds). Outside some green fence on the grass patio, and a Pergola between the garage and the living area. Please send me some of your similar references and price for the plan to be submitted to the municipality and 3d plan so I can buy furniture accordingly. The house is m from the beach and is an older house, but we would like to decorate it to look really nice (without investing too much)

Need to sell LPG my yard is sqm, just needed an outlay plan for such a business, no LPG pumping just cylinders only. There is a shack in the yard I bought the stand with it inside, contacted the municipality and the rural leadership they don't have a problem with that type of business in the area.
I want to build a newtec house with a veranda like my drawing. The plot is in length 22 square north and south and 15 square east and west. So the plot is 22x15= big. The house must be build in the center but to the south fence must only be 2m and to the north fence must be 6m.Main bedroom must have a sliding door and the lounge a bigger sliding door with windows.
Hello I am at the very early stages on sourcing a building quote for a new home. We are planning to buy land and then build on it. The property will be in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town. The piece of land is - sqaure meters which we are looking at. The house would at least: 4 bedrooms, double garage, swimming pool, scullery, laundry, perimeter wall and i would think in the region of to sqm but i have not idea on what this would get one. The catch is we are looking to build it in a way that we would could build - squares and then complete the rest later on if that makes sense. If you could provide some indicative ball park quotes that would be great so we can start planning as well as other costs we should keep in mind. Thanks!

we wish to put a sliding door between our open living area and our single garage. The garage is not used for a motor vehicle, it is currently used as a study. It has a ceiling and has been tiled. I would to do an extension in the means of an extra room to my house. The room will be situated on the second floor. Approximately 14 square meter(3.5m x 4m). In the photo attached, I was thinking to extend between the aircon unit you see on the left hand side and the main entrance skylight structure on the right hand side towards the road
A double storey house. Lots of glass basically should be a glass house. Ground floor should be an open plan leaving room, dinning room and kitchen. With a huge porch. 3 bedrooms all with a toilet and a shower. Bathroom for visitor. Upper area. Open loud area. Two bedrooms with bathrooms. The main bedroom should be bigger with a big bathroom bathtub and a huge shower. A walking closet. With all the upper area Id love the lounge to have a big balcony, both bedrooms as well no windows but sliding doors. And a double garage
