When do I need a building permit in South Africa?
In South Africa, building applications for the construction of property and land use are highly regulated.
I have recently bought a house that needs a face lift. It is currently a 3 bedroom place but looking into turning it into en-suite bachelor flats with kitchenettes. This renovation will involve putting up a 2 dividing dry walls and construction of 2 bathrooms and 3 kitchenettes. I prefer email communication.
I want to add a master bedroom that is ensuite with walk in closet and an double garage in front and a dining room with a living room, a bigger and open kitchen. My first bedroom should be wider as well. 2 pillars on the garage and a veranda with 2 pillars on the main door and a small veranda with 2 pillars on the kitchen door.
Good day. We are looking to build an outbuilding/ granny cottage for my mum. We are looking at an open plan kitchen and lounge and a bedroom with a bathroom to the side of the bedroom - L shaped building. We think that the size from the kitchen to the bedroom is 12m x 4 and the bathroom to the side is 2.5m x 3. We are looking at building against the boundary walls. We just recently moved into a 3 bedroom with 2 and a half bathrooms. I need assistance with interior designing as I intend on selling all our old furniture. The warehouse to store bottled water, the warehouse must have builtin air conditioning for cooling the whole storage, the warehouse must have workshop, laboratory included for water quality testing, offices space and kitchen. Covered Packing for about 3 big 10tons trucks and vehicles. The building must have electric fenced. The Bottling plant must be off the grid. PVC Solar panels will be installed to supply 3 phase voltage to power the whole plant.
