7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.
I would like to find out what it would cost more or less if i should put up a netting shade-port at my home, there are four cars. I live in a complex and will be doing the shade port with my neighbor so we would like use the wall on ONE side with brackets & only have "front" poles for the Shadeport. The distance from the one wall to the other is just over 11m. I attached photos for you to see.

The canopy structure for walkways shall be designed to include portal frames, purlins, and metal sheet and supported on a reinforced concrete pad footings. All steel works shall be bolted or welded. Structural members of the covered walkway shall be adequately braced and connected to prevent displacement or distortion of the frame work. The canopy roof shall have adequate slope/bents to allow rain water discharge. Allow for rainwater downpipes. Our garden is a bit untidy and our grass is a mess. I need the grass brought back to life and the garden cleaned and shaped properly before I can start adding more plants. There are 6 plant boxes that my dad built and that soil needs to be redone. We also have a tree that I need cut down to size. The garden is not huge but does require some attention.

Im doing this for the comfort reasons of my family. Its in the back court yard, small but pleasant. Will be slightly narrower than a double size and must be high and strong enough (with bars in place) for me to hang 2 kayaks (28kg each) between the the car port and the roof of the car. I just want a good cleanup and it must be monthly.Small garden area less than 50sm. I also want clearing/weeds growing between paving, there must be no lawns but small area outside the pavement between fence and street where weeds grow. NS> I have marked 50- but the actual garden is at the back of the property and is smaller than 50sm. Thank you Ivan
