He came and we did the whole survey and he sent me his quotation, I paid a deposit of 50% from there it has been stories on stories a project that was supposed to be done within 2weeks it’s now 4 months, I will never recommend them even to my enemies.
The work was about 95% completed and no roof certificate was provided despite full payment. There were many promises and delays, and communication was inconsistent. I eventually decided to move on and will not be using this company again.
The work has been done already, the clients roof trusses are not (SANS) stamped we did not build the roof we only removed the tiles and replaced it bir IBR sheets. And waterproofing the roof. We struggle to get an Engineering to give the client a certificate now. But we didn't build the roof only replace the tiles with IBR sheet. Now the client keep us reliable for the certificate. We are not an construction builder. The delay on the IBR sheets , we don't manufacture the sheets our self IBR sheets needs to be customized.

I have an open balcony on top of a concrete slab. Under the balcony is my scullery as well as a bedroom. Between the tiled floor and the wall around the balcony, water is leaking into the scullery and bedroom. The leaks are only just where the roof and the wall meets, not any other places on the roof. In the corner of the bedroom you can also see the damp on the wall, just opposite the one outlet of the water on the balcony.
