Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.

Goodday I have drawn a sketch of what I would like I would be happy to send so you can have an idea of what I would like. It's one block of flat containing 2 units on ground floor and two units on first floor each unit is 36sqm in size containing all identical in design. I'd like to build a house with a big dining area, large kitchen and one room on the ground flour. Four rooms at the second floor and a rooftop with some sort of covering for shade. Each room should have its own bathroom with basin with shower head. I have a picture that I'd like the house to look similar to, will attach. House should be more than square meters with spaceous rooms. Paving leading to driveway and grass and trees all over the yard. Vacant land/Plot is square meters.
